Summary

We're looking for an experienced Stock Prep Superintendent to lead a critical department at our Wabash, IN mill and play a key role in maximizing production, reliability, safety, and team performance.

 

In this high-visibility leadership role, you'll oversee Stock Prep operations, develop and mentor a talented team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure our equipment, processes, and team members operate at their best. You'll partner across departments to solve complex challenges, improve operating performance, and build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

 

*MUST HAVE PAPER MILL EXPERIENCE*

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Lead all Stock Prep operations with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop, coach, and support salaried and hourly team members.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement, root cause problem solving, and best practices.
  • Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Build a strong culture of learning, engagement, and accountability.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, paper, pulp, or a related industrial environment.
  • Strong operational, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, drive results, and influence change.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent paper mill experience will be considered.
