Summary

Pipefitter Maintenance Supervisor

We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our pipefitter craft and drive safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance operations. In this role, you’ll assign daily and weekly work, coach and develop your team, support RCM practices, and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and to standard.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise pipefitter crews in daily and scheduled maintenance
  • Ensure safe work practices, hazard identification, and housekeeping standards
  • Provide technical guidance on repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment rebuilds
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate schedules with other maintenance disciplines
  • Monitor job progress and approve completed work
  • Maintain preventive maintenance programs and support major equipment evaluations
  • Ensure parts, tools, and materials are available for planned work
  • Build strong relationships with union and management teams

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or degree preferred
  • 5–10 years of maintenance experience (electrical, mechanical, or fluid systems)
  • Welding experience/certifications
  • Strong PM/PdM, FMEA, and CMMS experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, tools, and maintenance techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical plans, and engineering documents
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
