Summary

We are seeking an Intern to work as an HR Assistant for the Human Resources Department at our Louisville, Kentucky operations site. This role will work directly with the HR Manager to provide support for a variety of HR functions. It's a great opportunity for hands-on experience within the field of Human Resources while gaining valuable insight from supportive leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Help find top talent by crafting job postings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Facilitate inclusive onboarding experiences for new team members, guiding them through orientation and assisting with necessary documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in our HRIS.
  • Help organize various trainings and development programs.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
