This position could be a 1st,2nd or 3rd shift role- depending on department need.
This is a 2nd pressman or Feeder operator position depending on the skill level of the individual. If the individual has no experience they will enter in as a Feeder Operator and learn the role in hopes of progressing to 2nd pressman.
The Feeder Operator is responsible for keeping the press full of the required substrate while maintaining the appropriate press speed. He or she will help maintain ink fountains and help with make ready, wash up and learn the responsibilities of the Second Pressman.
