The Maintenance Planner performs a critical role in providing technical assistance to the maintenance organization, in analyzing planned and completed work orders, and soliciting input from key staff to facilitate improvements in current and future job plans. The planner is also accountable for creating appropriate equipment files, and for ensuring timely updates with relevant maintenance and repair histories to aid in future job plan development. The planner incorporates continuous improvement feedback into the planning strategy utilizing experiences in planning techniques and the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Solid understanding of maintenance and reliability processes and tools
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
Strong analytical and organizational skills Available to work overtime as required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CMMS ( EAM Software is a plus)
High School Diploma/GED, Prefer 2 year technical degree
Must have 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance related field.
The noise level in the work environment can vary from quiet to loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is often required to sit at a computer terminal for long periods. Employee is required to have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
