  • Overview

    The Training Coordinator manages the training program and is responsible for organizing, planning, and implementing training schedules in alignment with production needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Develops and maintains Training Program
    • Maintains schedule of all employees currently in training and to be trained
    • Develops training validation methods, such as skills assessments, coordinating with area technical experts
    • Validates results of training assessments
    • Maintains matrix of employee skillsets and needs
    • Performs training, where appropriate based on skill set
    • Manages the development of Standard Work and associated training documents
    • Operates within policies & procedures, and maintains compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
    • Other duties as required to ensure safe, quality production is maintained.

     

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field preferred, AAS degree required.
    • 1 – 3 years’ experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
    • Strong facilitation and teambuilding skills
    • Ability to assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
    • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques including e-learning
    • Good functional knowledge of Syteline, MS Office and other related computer skills
    • Flexibility to work across all shifts
