The Finance/Accounting Department at Paperworks Industries, Inc. currently has an opening for a Tax Analyst. This position provides an excellent development opportunity to learn about various Federal, State and International income tax structures and obtain an insight in how the Company operating units interact with the Tax personnel.
The Tax Analyst role is directly involved with federal, state and local compliance for several US and Canadian corporations and partnerships. Under the general supervision of the Director of Tax, this role is responsible for the preparation of annual tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments and completion of tax accounting functions related to fixed asset depreciation, tax basis, etc. In addition, the Tax Analyst will be an active team member and will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues regarding various federal, state, and local taxing authority notices as well as special projects. Project work will be diverse, providing a unique perspective to view and analyze the daily operations of the organization from a tax perspective.
