    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and track materials flow to identify bottlenecks and characterize usage.
    • Identify, resolve, and forecast problems and potential solutions to inventory and quality.
    • Schedule delivery and production usage of materials for optimal production.
    • Visit and evaluate suppliers for quality, timeliness, procedures, and fit to goals
    • Quotes, Schedules, Purchase Order’s, Follow up with vendors on all aspects of material logistics
    • Timely and accurate fulfillment of daily PD pick lists and SRF’s (work orders), performing associated inventory transactions when requisitioning parts from both the ISA and main stockrooms.
    • ECN’s for international shipments
    • Receive transfer orders systemically
    • Perform physical inventory ( daily cycle counts) as required
    • Resolve issues related to receiving and inventory discrepancies
    • Perform shipping requirements as a backup to department liaison
    • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
    • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement
    • Utilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required
    • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy
    • Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree preferred
    • Experience with MS Office
    • Experience with computer based inventory control system required
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with other departments
    • Capability to work independently
    • General understanding of production practices, BOM’s, and shipping/receiving a plus
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds
